Amnesty International website distributing malware

The amnesty international website has been hacked and a Gh0st RAT hacking tool was inserted. The website itself distributed the RAT hacking tool to its visitors when they accessed the site.
The RAT hacking tool essentially allows the hacker to have remote control of infected devices. The hacker tool itself avoided detection by the antivirus and security applications designed to protect the amnesty website by certifying itself as a trusted application in the eyes of the Chinese certificate authority. It is yet to be known whether the hacker created a fraudulent certificate or whether it was due to negligence on the certificate authority's part.

The amnesty international site is now clean from the Gh0st RAT tool.
